Mother's Day Dessert

Again, we Mexican's celebrate Mother's Day May 10th.
My mom specifically asked for a tiramisu cake. This was a problem, given I found no mascarpone, but I looked online, and found a cool recipe using cream cheese and cool whip (which I didn't have on hand, but, hey, Pastry Pride), so cool beans.
I have alternating layers of spongy cake, soaked with milk and coffee, and *lady fingers (made them using the same mix as the cake, only I let them overbake, to get a cookie-like consistency, so they'd absorb more liquid), with the cream mix between, and a little chocolate ganache and powder on top. Yeah, I mean, it's not a true tiramisu, but it's delicious. Also, I'm aware of the fact that tiramisu were originally given to the groom on their wedding night, but, hey, it's delicious, and almost everybody likes it, so whatevs.
